EPN KC | How to Work Well with Others

Trying to navigate the workplace ZOO can be overwhelming, especially for HR professionals.  The Lions want it done THEIR way — and fast; the Peacocks think everything should be fun and color-coded; the Lambs take on more than they can possibly do in a day; and the Owls are slow, quiet and cordial — then ZAP you with an email later!

Join EPNKC and guest speaker, Cindy Kubica, as she helps you understand what motivates the animals in your ZOO so you can capitalize on their unique strengths.  Cindy is a stress expert and whole health energy coach.  She is also the co-founder and host of a global online talk show and community called Energized Living Today, which reaches tens of thousands of people around the world.  Among Cindy’s seven books are:  In Search of Normal: Moving Life from Chaos to Clarity | Fit to Communicate: Strength Training for Your Attitude | Career Compass for Women | I Want a Love Story to Happen to Me | and Motivation: Up Yours, Here’s How. Reducing workplace stress starts with understanding your human ZOO.

    Roundtable Represent

Roundtable Represent is all about #REPRESENTING. Kauffman Scholars student demographics represent a diverse range of race and ethnicity and we want to see KC professionals who reflect our scholars. The long-term success of any business calls for a diverse body of talent that can bring fresh ideas, perspectives and views to their work.

Kauffman Scholars wants your company to come out and represent and reflect on who our scholars are. If you have staff at your company or organization that would like to come out and represent and have a conversation about diversity and inclusion in Kansas City, please register online.

For questions regarding the event, please contact Mako Miller, Career Services Manager mmiller@kauffmanscholars.org.
