by Lexi Ryan | Feb 02, 2018

In the spirit of working together, TeamKC created a peer-nominated award to recognize one organization that has provided significant impact on or contribution to the Kansas City region’s status as a top destination for talent.

The 2018 TeamKC MVP Award goes to Children’s Mercy Hospital’s Talent Recruitment Team, announced at the first annual TeamKC Training Camp talent summit.

The TeamKC MVP Award celebrates a group that has gone far and beyond to show collaboration, innovation, thought leadership and made a positive impact on behalf of the Kansas city community.

Children’s Mercy Hospital’s Talent Recruitment Team received the TeamKC MVP Award for their work in significantly raising the national profile of Kansas City as a hot spot to live and work by supporting TeamKC’s national media efforts including KC Options magazine; sharing best practices and innovative strategies to showcase Kansas City for talent with other employers in the region; and their immense community collaboration across the city impacting workforce efforts including the KC Veteran Coalition and the creation of a Visiting Counselors Day.

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2019 TeamKC MVP Award and may come from anywhere in the KC region. The TeamKC Advisory Board or board-designated subcommittee will make the final decision on the recipient of the award.
