Molly Weaver, MBA, is the Director of Talent Acquisition for Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics. She is responsible for all hiring for the hospital with the exception of physicians and has been with the hospital nine years. The goal of Talent Acquisition at Children’s Mercy is to ensure that the organization has the talent it needs in the right place, at the right time, with the right skills now and in the future.

Prior to joining Children’s Mercy she was a Senior Recruiting Manager with responsibilities for recruiting programs for T-Mobile USA. Her focus is on attracting and keeping top healthcare talent for Children’s Mercy while ensuring the candidate experience is the best it can be. Current initiatives include internal mobility, use of video in innovative ways, building internal skills through tuition programs and extending the reach into high schools to ensure talent is there for the future.

Susan is currently the Talent Acquisition Manager at CrossFirst Bank where she responsible for managing all of the Talent Acquisition function across multiple states. Susan has over 20 years of experience in corporate talent acquisition, hiring at all levels of an organization, solid background in developing sourcing strategies to attract top talent, working closely with organizational leaders to understand not only their business needs but also their strategy; along with priding herself in developing strong relationships.

Prior to joining CrossFirst Bank, Susan was the Executive Recruiter at DST, responsible for the oversight of recruiting for all of the executive level positions across all lines of business. She also enjoys giving back to local organizations and is also on the Executive Board for Epsilon Sigma Alpha for the state of Missouri serving as Workshop Coordinator.

At Dairy Farmers of America, Kyle manages a team of seven recruiting and sourcing professionals, focused on adding talent to our corporate office and 90+ additional locations, both domestic and international.

Lakota McCune is the Talent Acquisition Manager for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. In this role, she oversees the Bank’s full-cycle recruitment and employee screening functions. This includes responsibility for the Bank’s robust campus recruiting and internship programs, in addition to supporting business lines in their wide-range of strategic talent needs across the Bank’s seven state region.

Lakota joined the Bank’s Financial Management function in 2013 and has held leadership roles within Human Resources since 2019. She has several years of experience in corporate accounting and budgeting, strategic planning, executive reporting, talent and leadership development, and employee relations. She holds a BBA in Finance and Management from Pittsburg State University and an MBA from Rockhurst University.

Danielle is the Recruitment Marketing Manager at H&R Block. As a marketing professional on a Talent Acquisition team, Danielle brings a unique perspective and creative lens to talent attraction. Since joining the H&R Block team in September of 2018, she’s launched a talent brand initiative where she leads the rollout of the company’s fresh talent brand in alignment with the company’s overall brand refresh.

A proponent of elevating company culture and talent, she is involved in many aspects of the business and draws inspiration from her involvement in the company’s culture committee, campus recruiting team, and candidate experience group. She also serves as a Co-Lead for the H&R Block Women’s Network Communications Committee.

Prior to joining H&R Block, Danielle started her career in Southern California – focusing on recruitment strategies, digital communications, and employer branding. Danielle graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor of Business Marketing and immediately applied her education to her work.

With 9+ years of recruitment experience, mainly focused in engineering, she has a passion for helping others find that next great opportunity and reaching their full potential. Liz strives to create the best intern experience and loves watching talented students grow into their career. Fred Wise is the Human Resources Director for the Global Talent Acquisition and has led Diversity and Inclusion for Hallmark Cards.  He graduated from the Olin School of Business from Washington University in St. Louis with a BS degree in Business Administrations (1989); and holds an MS degree in Organizational Development from American University & NTL Institute in Washington, D.C. (1996).  

Fred’s human resource experience spans 28 years in the HR field with the Pepsi-Cola Company, Nabisco and Hallmark.  His expertise includes: recruiting, talent management, leadership development; workforce and succession planning; organization development; executive and international compensation; and H.R business partnership. 

He has a strong passion for mentoring and coaching diverse talent and in serving the community.  He has served as a mentor, Membership chair and now a board member of the 100 Black Men of Kansas City.  He has been a multi-year,  Hallmark team captain for Christmas in October – a local non-profit organizations, devoted to making home improvements for the veteran, elderly, disabled and undeserved populations.  He is an active, board member with the Urban League of Greater Kansas City – supporting their strategic empowerment, healthcare and employment initiatives.  And he is a member of the University of Missouri- Kansas City Bloch Management School Advisory Council; focused on advancing the school’s brand and value to the Kansas City business and civic communities.

When time permits, Fred enjoys cycling, fitness, travel and spending time with his family.  He is married with 2 children – one enrolled at University of Missouri in K.C. and the other in High school in Overland Park, Kansas.

Brandi RiggsBrandi Riggs is Director, Human Resources at McCownGordon Construction. Brandi’s background includes sales management, human resources, and organizational development. Travis Lewis has been a professional in the recruiting industry for 22 years. He is currently the Vice President for Expansion and Innovation for an International company in The Adecco Group, overseeing multiple markets including Overland Park. This oversight includes various specialized recruiting divisions: Accounting Principals, Ajilon, Ajilon Healthcare, Paladin, Parker + Lynch, and Parker + Lynch Technology. These divisions include recruiting specialization in Accounting, Finance, HR, Healthcare (clinical and non-clinical), Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing, IT, Engineering, and Administrative Professionals. Travis has led the Kansas City Branch to be a top notch and diversified recruiting team within Adecco, who has more than 80 Professional Service recruiting offices (many of which are in major markets). Jenna is a Kansas City native with a heart for people and for Kansas City’s local sports teams. Her career has been spent in the Midwest serving companies in various human resources departments. She currently serves the entire Superior Bowen family of companies for their HR needs including Inspired Homes, AB Rock, CMTG, and Manchester Pavement Solutions. Sheri Ratliff currently holds the position of director Talent Acquisition at T-Mobile, with responsibility for all Enterprise recruitment efforts. Responsibilities include partnering with the various business units to forecast future talent needs and identify talent for current opportunities. Driving strategy for recruitment marketing, branding, candidate and manager experience while attracting diverse and qualified candidates.

With more than 16 years at Sprint (now T-Mobile), Sheri led a variety of operations and shared services teams, ranging from Payroll, Employee Helpline & Transactions, Commissions, Accounts Payable and HR Technology.

Sheri is actively engaged with several workforce initiatives, holding a seat on the KU Edwards Workforce Advisory board, Kansas City Veterans Coalition, Consumer Technology Association 21st Century Workforce Council and represents Sprint on the Google IT Certificate Program.

Having an insatiable desire to innovate with a focus on organizational effectiveness, Sheri leverages analytics and strategic partnerships to achieve best in class results. This deliberate and precise coordination can be tracked back to her Marine Corp roots. Having brought the vital nutrients to her fellow soldiers now bringing the vital nutrients to Sprint.

Sheri holds a BA in Management from Baker University, emphasis on leadership. Prior to her tenured background in corporate America, Sheri obtained the rank of Corporal in the United States Marine Corps.

Leah has over 15 years of experience developing strategic integrated marketing plans, content and collateral, brand messaging, media relations, digital marketing and analytics. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, she was most recently the Director of Marketing for Ocean Reef Club Sotheby’s International Realty - the premier luxury real estate company in the Florida Keys.
